This is an opportunity for an experienced Logistics, Transport or Operations Supervisor to take ownership of a key frontline operation within an established and growing Australian business.

Based at the company's Blacktown depot, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of approximately 20 drivers, helping ensure a large and busy delivery network operates safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

we're looking for someone who enjoys a fast-moving, hands-on operational environment and who knows how to lead people.

This role will take ownership of the driver / transport function and work closely with the broader depot team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, supporting and developing a team of approximately 20 drivers
- Building strong relationships across the workforce while maintaining clear standards and accountability
- Monitoring fleet performance, presentation, maintenance and servicing
- Supporting driver onboarding, training and ongoing development
- Managing performance issues professionally and consistently
- Maintaining high standards across safety, compliance and operational processes
- Remaining visible and hands-on across the depot and stepping in operationally when required

About You:




While previous logistics or transport experience will be highly regarded, we're equally interested in how you lead people. You'll ideally bring:

- Demonstrated experience leading a sizeable driver workforce
- A genuine ability to build trust and credibility with different personalities
- A friendly and approachable leadership style combined with the confidence to have difficult conversations
- Resilience and the ability to remain level-headed in a challenging, fast-moving environment
- Strong operational instincts and an understanding of fleet, transport, logistics or route-based operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to roll your sleeves up when required
- A relevant heavy vehicle licence and driving experience would be highly regarded
