About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply high level professional judgment and decision making to resolve a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable clinical evidence with minimal direct clinical supervision.
- Contribute to the development of clinical practice, procedures and administrative protocols for the Psychology Department and multidisciplinary medical teams that support the continuum of care.
- Work collaboratively and effectively within multidisciplinary teams by effectively integrating the Psychology specific perspective to affect optimal health outcomes for consumers.
- Demonstrate high level management skills in monitoring and prioritising workload demands to initiate, develop and implement quality strategies that will enhance the delivery clinical psychology services. Plan and develop procedures in line with Queensland Health policy and recent research evidence, necessary for an efficient and effective service.
