Pace Appointments QLD are proud to partner with a fast-growing freight and logistics business supporting major construction projects through the movement, storage and delivery of project cargo. With significant growth ahead, they are building the infrastructure, systems and team to support an expanding pipeline of projects across Brisbane and beyond.

This is a genuine opportunity to build a warehouse operation from the ground up — establishing the layout, systems, processes, stock controls and operating standards to support continued growth.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Establishing and setting up the new warehouse operation
- Developing practical warehouse processes, systems and procedures
- Managing incoming and outgoing freight, including containers and awkward or oversized cargo
- Coordinating container unpacking, stock movements and deliveries
- Maintaining accurate stock control and warehouse system records
- Optimising warehouse layout, storage and workflow
- Working with site managers, transport providers and other stakeholders
- Maintaining high standards of safety, organisation and warehouse presentation




- Supervising and supporting warehouse staff as the operation grows
- Operating forklifts and remaining hands-on when required

You’ll bring:

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, coordination or management
- Strong understanding of freight, stock control and warehouse processes
- Hands-on approach with solid forklift experience
- Ability to take ownership, solve problems and keep things moving
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive mindset with a focus on safety, accuracy and continuous improvement
- Freight forwarding, project logistics or construction supply chain experience
- Strong warehouse systems and WMS capability
- Warehouse set up experience highly regarded
