We are seeking two fixed-term, full-time (76 hours fortnightly) Applications Management Officers to join our Housing Connect team in Hobart.

Both positions are fixed-term for 12 months.

Anglicare Tasmania is a non-profit organisation providing a wide range of community services to the people of Tasmania. We are part of the national Anglicare Australia network of organisations. Anglicare advocates for social justice and aids people in times of need. We provide programs relating to ageing and disability, health, housing, families, drug and alcohol treatment and support services and more.

About the role:

The Applications Management Officer performs essential administrative functions at Housing Connect Front Doors. The role provides professional, efficient and accurate data entry and administrative duties to support for the new Housing database.

What you will be doing in this role:

- Provide administrative support and assistance to the Housing Connect team as required.
- Maintain records and undertake routine administrative tasks associated with administrative procedures.
- Input data and accurately maintain relevant databases and information systems; assist in the preparation of reports and other documents including lodgement on Confluence.
- Prepare and process incoming and outgoing documentation and correspondence.
- Perform filing of documents and forms, undertake photocopying and provide general administrative support as required.
- Work in accordance with the policies and procedures of Anglicare at all times by maintaining records and ensuring confidentiality of client related information at all times.

To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a busy administrative office environment.
- Knowledge and experience at the intermediate computer skills level, particularly in word processing, data base management and email communications.
- Possess good levels of initiative, judgement and the understanding of the requirement to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all aspects of the position.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to establish priorities manage workloads and identify when to reschedule and reorganise work to reflect changes in priority.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with a range of internal and external people.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service, including liaison with internal stakeholders such as the Payroll and Finance departments.
- Be able to flexibly adapt to suit changing administrative requirements of the position.
- Proven interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

The successful applicant will be required to:
- provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Working Screening Check;
- present a unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months;




- provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
- provide a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical;
- provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence.

On commencement the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
