Summary
As an Administration Support Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the Planning and Development team and the projects that help shape the future of Catholic education across South East Queensland. Based in Woolloongabba, this position provides administrative, financial and coordination support across a range of planning and property-related activities. Working within a collaborative team, you'll help keep operations running smoothly while contributing to meaningful projects that support schools and communities.

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Provide administrative and coordination support across planning, property and development activities
- Coordinate financial administration, including invoice processing and payment workflows
- Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting minutes and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Manage requests and information within BCE systems, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
- Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and service providers to support service delivery and project outcomes
- Respond to enquiries, resolve administrative issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in relation to systems policies and procedures to increase efficient and effective workflows
- Collaborate across the broader Planning and Construction team to support operational priorities including Planning, Demographics, Master Planning and Property programs of work, including property portfolio administration, service coordination and day‑to‑day operational support
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach
- High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records, documentation and business systems
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to solve problems and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in an administration, coordination or business support role
- Experience in financial administration, property, infrastructure or project environments will be highly regarded
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
- Current/valid Queensland Driver’s Licence (desirable)
