In this role, you'll:
Collaborate with business areas across Sydney Metro to provide a specialised records and information management capability and framework that enables the organisation to leverage its information assets, rely on its evidential records and mitigate information management risks to support business outcomes.
You will be responsible for ensuring and monitoring compliance with relevant records and information management legislation and regulatory obligations by undertaking compliance assurance activities such as our biennial records maturity assessment and understanding business requirements and needs to deliver high-quality information management services, solutions and outcomes.
You will advise and guide the organisation about best practices, apply expert knowledge and experience, and deliver information management compliance awareness training and support across Sydney Metro to drive organisational maturity uplift.
You will be able to develop and implement effective audit and monitoring frameworks and provide accurate and detailed reporting to support measurement of maturity and uplift work across the organisation

About you
You are an experienced information management professional with at least 5 years industry experience, preferably within a large and complex organisation, looking for an opportunity to build on your skillset and capabilities.
You have a strong understanding about business and audit processes as well as regulatory and legislative compliance requirements related to information management such AS ISO 15489, the State Records Act 1998, and the NSW Standard on records management including associated policies, procedures, and records retention and disposal schedules.
You have a strong understanding of technology and systems supporting digital information and records as well as evolving digital and technology trends such as Artificial Intelligence and impacts on information management practices and approaches.
You are self-motivated and enjoy problem solving and developing solutions and approaches to support effective information management to deliver sustainable and compliant outcomes.
You have strong interpersonal skills,
are comfortable working with stakeholders across all levels of the business and have demonstrated the ability to lead conversations with senior leaders and provide advice and direction.
Location
This role must be based from the advertised location with hybrid working arrangements.
