LCP Mechanical are located in Wangara, WA. We are a vehicle mechanical firm which carries out maintenance and service of all popular makes and models of vehicles.

We require a Motor Mechanic to join our team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Advanced Electronic Diagnostics: Use proprietary diagnostic to read, interpret, and transparent fault codes, re-flash Engine Control Units (ECUs), and troubleshoot complex multiplex wiring and CAN-bus communication faults.
- Mechanical Repairs & Overhauls: Perform intricate mechanical repairs on unique powertrains, including PureTech petrol engines, THP turbocharged units, and BlueHDi diesel systems, including complete engine and transmission rebuilds.
- Specialized System Maintenance: Service and repair complex automotive engineering components, such as wet timing belts (belt-in-oil systems), AdBlue/DPF emissions control systems, variable valve timing (VVT), and hydraulic/electronic braking and suspension systems
- Logbook Servicing & Safety Inspections:



Execute scheduled manufacturer logbook servicing using specification fluids, lubricants, and genuine components to safeguard factory warranties. Conduct stringent roadworthiness and safety audits.
- Special Tools Operation: Utilise specialized manufacturer-specific hand tools, pullers, and alignment jigs unique to groups to complete repairs without damaging componentry.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide and train local apprentices and general mechanics on the specific engineering nuances, safety protocols, and repair quirks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to Company Policies and Guidelines for Health and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Time Management: Complete certain types of services and safety checks within the industry standard time.

To be considered you will need a relevant AQF Certificate IV and at least 1 year of relevant employment experience, OR; at least 3 years of relevant employment experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

Knowledge and experience on French brands desirable but not essential.

This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $95,000 - $105,000 is on offer to the successful candidate.
