About Us

Healius has an expansive network of over 80 medical laboratories and 2000 patient collection centres operating across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. We provide 1 in every 3 pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia’s largest and most complex private and public hospitals, to small Indigenous Australian communities. What You’ll Be Doing

The Masterdata Officer will support the Masterdata and Revenue Assurance teams to help ensure pathology services are billed accurately and in line with contractual and legislative requirements.

Reporting to the Masterdata Team Lead, this role sits within the Healius Finance team and works closely with the Masterdata, Revenue Assurance, Revenue, Finance and Project teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Review patient,



testing and billing information to identify errors and exceptions

- Update records in internal systems to correct Xtend, Suspend and Claiming issues

- Check data for accuracy, consistency and completeness across multiple data sources

- Identify and escalate data quality issues for resolution

- Maintain accurate data to support timely and correct billing and claiming

- Support the invoice printing process and identify any issues that may impact distribution

- Communicate with internal teams to resolve data or billing queries

- Assist with updating and maintaining role specific documentation and procedures

Full training will be provided to support you in learning our systems, processes and healthcare billing requirements.

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

This role would suit someone who:

- Is early in their career, a recent graduate, or looking for their first corporate role

- Has basic administration or data entry experience (this may include study, internships, part‑time or entry‑level work)

- Is confident using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

- Has a high level of attention to detail and enjoys working with data

- Has clear written and verbal communication skills

- Understands the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive information

Previous experience in healthcare, pathology or billing is advantageous but not mandatory, as there will be training provided.
