About the Role
As a Client Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for our Federal Government clients and strengthening CTM’s position as a trusted strategic partner across the Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) travel program.

This role extends beyond traditional account management. You’ll build strong client partnerships, oversee contractual and service performance, support governance and compliance requirements, and identify opportunities to continuously improve the client experience and broader travel program.

Working within a highly regulated environment, you’ll manage a portfolio of Federal Government clients and take ownership of stakeholder relationships, reporting, service levels, issue resolution, governance forums and the delivery of agreed initiatives.

You’ll use data, commercial insights and your understanding of client needs to provide strategic recommendations, demonstrate value and drive positive program outcomes.

About You

- 3+ years’ demonstrated experience in account or client management, ideally managing complex client portfolios.




- Experience working with Government clients or within a highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of contract management, governance, compliance and service level performance.
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and reporting, identify trends and provide meaningful, data-driven recommendations.
- Commercial acumen and an understanding of ROI, cost optimisation and cost avoidance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage effectively across clients, suppliers and internal teams.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and delivering value for clients.
- Experience with travel management systems such as Tramada and online booking tools will be highly regarded.
