We are a family operated secondhand shop in Adelaide's Western suburbs with over 40 years experience in the industry. We buy and sell a vast assortment of new and secondhand goods with a well established and loyal client base. We provide small loans on a daily basis to a variety of customers and pride ourselves on our customer service. We are looking for an experienced retail person to join our team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide customer service and relate to customers from all levels with tact, grace and empathy
- Handle money with accuracy
- Complete a variety of tasks on a day to day basis including cleaning duties and merchandising
- Sell items on Gumtree, Facebook and Ebay
About you
- Experienced retail person
- Good computer literacy
- Great customer service skills
- Genuine ability to relate to customers from all levels
- Accuracy in money handling
- Excellent literacy skills
- Great communicator
- Experience with selling on Gumtree, Facebook and Ebay is an advantage
- Experience working in jewellery, fashion and pawnbroking is an advantage but not essential
- Police clearance certificate required once accepted
