Industrial Electrician | 4-Day Week | Projects / Mining / Construction

Curtis Electrical is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Waroona-based Projects Division.

This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety and wants to work on a wide range of industrial, mining and construction projects supporting Alcoa and its contractors.

One week you may be installing new process equipment, cable ladder systems and PLC upgrades. The next you could be working on underground services, building construction projects, communications systems, welding and fabrication works, or conference room installations.

What's On Offer

- Competitive hourly rate of $55-$60 per hour depending on experience

- Full-time permanent position

- Superannuation paid on all hours

- 4-day roster (Monday to Thursday)

- 11-hour work days

- Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off

We're looking for an electrician who:

- Takes pride in their work

- Is physically fit and capable of hands-on project work

- Enjoys working within a small team

- Is willing to help wherever required

- Enjoys learning new skills and tackling wide-ranging projects

Essential Requirements

- WA Electrical Licence

- Current Driver's Licence

- CPR/LVR current within 12 months

- EWP and Working at Heights

- Australian citizenship / unrestricted working rights in Australia.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and participate in ongoing random testing as required.

- Own hand and battery tools

- Strong commitment to safety

- Must reside with 45 mins of Waroona

Highly Regarded

- Industrial or mining experience

- PLC experience

- Welding and fabrication experience

- Construction project experience

- Communications and networking installation experience

- Machinery and equipment installation experience
