As a Site Supervisor at Everest Civil, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction operations at our projects around regional Queensland. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to ensure the successful completion of our construction projects.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and supervise construction crews to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and safety compliance
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide regular progress updates
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on the construction site
- Provide on-site training and mentorship to construction workers
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of construction activities
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate construction teams
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
