About the Role
Key responsibilities include for Diecutting:
- Completing pre-makereadies to ensure efficient job changeovers and minimise downtime.
- Setting up and operating flatbed die-cutting and embellishment equipment.
- Setting and operating dies, stripping and blanking units to achieve accurate, consistent production.
- Following job tickets, specifications and production instructions to ensure work meets customer and quality requirements.
- Monitoring quality throughout production and making adjustments where required.
- Minimising waste while maintaining production efficiency and output.
- Assisting with scheduled preventative maintenance and keeping equipment in excellent operating condition.
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and valuable manufacturing practices.
The ideal applicant will possess the following:
- Trade experience and certification in the print/packaging industry.
- High attention to detail with the ability to think proactively.
- Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.
- Respect for the safety and wellbeing of oneself and others.
