Tradewind Australia is partnering with a values-led disability and early childhood service to recruit Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists across Ballarat and multiple locations throughout Metro Melbourne.

These roles support children aged 0-12 years with disability and additional needs, offering meaningful, family-centred work within a transdisciplinary team. Support is delivered where it matters most, including homes, early learning settings, schools and community environments.

We currently have a specific opportunity available in Ballarat, alongside a number of opportunities across Metro Melbourne.

About the Role

As an Allied Health Professional, you will work collaboratively with children and families to identify their priorities, develop meaningful functional goals and build capacity within everyday routines.

Service delivery is flexible and includes a mix of face-to-face visits and telehealth depending on the needs of each family. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own work while remaining closely connected to an experienced multidisciplinary team.

This is a relationship-based role with a genuine focus on long-term outcomes for children and families rather than simply volume-driven service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

- Deliver family-centred, strengths-based interventions for children aged 0-12
- Work with families to identify priorities and develop meaningful, functional goals
- Provide discipline-specific Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology intervention within a transdisciplinary model
- Support children across homes, schools, early learning settings and community environments
- Help families build confidence, advocacy skills and community connections
- Maintain timely documentation, reports and service data
- Participate in supervision, coaching and reflective practice
- Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals and the wider team




- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring

Essential:

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
- Relevant professional registration or membership with AHPRA or Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience or a strong interest in working with children with disability and their families
- Strong understanding of child development and family-centred practice
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills

Desirable:

- Experience working in natural environments such as homes, schools and community settings
- Experience with transdisciplinary or key worker models
- Background in early childhood, disability or NDIS-funded services
