We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager Data & Analytics to lead Holstep Health’s enterprise data, analytics and business intelligence capability.

YOUR NEW ROLE:

As the Manager Data & Analytics, you will play a key leadership role in shaping how data is governed, understood and used across Holstep Health.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Corporate Services, you will lead the organisation’s enterprise data, analytics and business intelligence capability, ensuring data is managed as a trusted strategic asset that supports informed decision-making, service excellence and organisational performance.

You will provide leadership across data governance, information management, business intelligence, analytics and reporting, while partnering with executives, managers, clinicians and operational teams to deliver meaningful insights across clinical, operational, financial and strategic areas.

Leading the Information Management team, you will also foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture and build organisation-wide data capability and literacy.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Leading the development and implementation of Holstep Health’s Data & Analytics Strategy and roadmap.
- Developing, implementing and continuously improving the organisation’s Data Governance Framework.
- Establishing strong standards and practices for data ownership, stewardship, quality, privacy, security and accountability.




- Leading the delivery of enterprise business intelligence, dashboards, scorecards and reporting solutions.
- Providing high-quality analysis and insights to support executive and Board decision-making, strategic planning and service improvement.
- Developing meaningful performance measures and KPIs across clinical, operational, financial and workforce areas.
- Establishing consistent reporting standards and supporting a trusted single source of truth across the organisation.
- Partnering with ICT to support reliable, secure and scalable data integration across clinical and corporate systems.
- Overseeing statutory, contractual, regulatory and funding-related reporting requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to automate reporting, streamline manual processes and improve access to information.
- Exploring emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, within appropriate governance, ethical and legislative frameworks.
- Building data literacy across Holstep Health and supporting teams to confidently use data to inform decision-making.
- Leading, developing and supporting a high-performing Information Management team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

To thrive in this role,



you will be an experienced data and analytics leader with strong strategic, technical and stakeholder management capabilities.

You will also have:

- A tertiary qualification in Information Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years demonstrated experience leading business intelligence, analytics or information management functions within a medium to large organisation.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks.
- Strong experience designing and implementing reporting and analytics solutions.
- Experience working with complex corporate and clinical information systems.
- Experience supporting executive reporting, governance and strategic decision-making.
- Extensive experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau and database query languages such as SQL.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into meaningful business insights.

Experience working within a healthcare, community services or not-for-profit environment, together with solid knowledge of Australian health privacy principles, legislation and reporting requirements, will be highly regarded.
