Our client is currently seeking a Windscreen Technician / Trainee to join their small, family-owned local business.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in their workmanship and is keen to develop their skills.
What's On Offer?
- $35-$40 per hour + Super, depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 07:30am 1:30pm
- No weekend work
- Early finish on Fridays

You will be working alongside experienced technicians and receive on-the-job training to develop your skills in windscreen and auto glass installation and repair.
Your duties will include:
- Fitting windscreens with quality and precision
- Removing and replacing damaged windscreens, side and rear glass
- Working with glass across cars, trucks, buses, earthmoving and agricultural machinery
- Removing moulds and trims around damaged glass
- Installing pre-cut and shaped glass, as well as cutting glass using templates where required
- Repairing or replacing damaged glass and associated components
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Some manual handling and heavy lifting
- Following all Workplace Health & Safety procedures
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Working effectively both independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in windscreen fitting, auto glass, automotive, mechanical, construction or another hands-on trade would be highly regarded. However, full windscreen experience is not essential. The right attitude, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are just as important.
