About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistants and Dispensary Technicians to join our amazing pharmacy teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about health and wellbeing and enjoy providing exceptional service to their local community.

The successful applicant will work as part of a supportive and dynamic team, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and ensuring customers receive friendly, professional and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the position and experience, duties may include:

- Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their health and wellbeing needs.

- Assisting customers with over-the-counter products and general pharmacy enquiries within the scope of the role.

- Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system.

- Receiving, unpacking and replenishing stock.

- Maintaining attractive and well-presented retail displays.

- Assisting with the ordering and management of pharmacy stock.

- Supporting promotional activities and maintaining current catalogue and promotional displays.

- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional pharmacy environment.

- Assisting the pharmacist and broader pharmacy team with daily operations.

- For Dispensary Technicians,



assisting with dispensing and administrative duties under the supervision of a pharmacist.

- Managing prescriptions and customer collections in accordance with pharmacy procedures and relevant legislation.

- Supporting the preparation of medications, where appropriately trained and authorised.

- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality and privacy requirements are met.

- Complying with all relevant pharmacy policies, procedures, legislation and professional standards.

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some Saturdays.

Previous pharmacy experience or relevant qualifications are desirable; however, training may be provided to the right candidate.
