Your New Role

As a Strategic People Partner, you will align people strategies with business priorities to improve organisational performance, strengthen workforce capability and manage people-related risk. Using workforce data, analytics and insights, you will influence decision-making, support organisational change and help build high-performing, engaged and future-ready teams.

Working with senior leaders as a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, talent, leadership capability, culture, employee experience and complex people matters. You will play a key role orchestrating the design and delivery of people solutions, leveraging the combined capability of the broader People, Culture and Communications team to address business challenges and opportunities.

Your manager is an accomplished HR executive with a strong track record in leading people strategies, developing talent, navigating complex employee relations matters, and building high-performing teams. As a transparent, authentic and empowering leader, she offers the successful candidate the opportunity to learn from a breadth of experience, build strong stakeholder management skills and gain valuable exposure to navigating complex organisational environments.

This is an ongoing, hybrid prospect with the flexibility to work from our head office in Melbourne CBD and working from home.

Core Accountabilities:

- Advise executives and people leaders on workforce, organisational capability and people-related matters.
- Influence business decisions through evidence-based insights, constructive challenge and practical recommendations.




- Lead and support organisational change and business transformation initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and adoption.
- Identify and manage people-related risks while balancing organisational performance, employee experience and operational needs.
- Work with leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into current and future workforce requirements.
- Develop workforce strategies that address capability gaps, succession needs, talent risks and organisational growth.
- Support career development, talent mobility and leadership development initiatives.
- Translate employee listening insights into practical actions that improve engagement and performance.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Partner with the Employee Relations team to support leaders to manage employee matters fairly, effectively and in line with organisational values.
- Provide advice on performance, employee relations and complex workplace matters.
- Ensure people decisions comply with employment legislation, policies and enterprise agreements.

About You

You’re an experienced Strategic People Partner with a demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence senior leaders and provide advice on complex people matters. You enjoy the variety that this role brings, where no two days are ever the same.

The key qualifications, skills and experience we are looking for are:

- Degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Psychology, or a related discipline.
- AHRI certification or postgraduate qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development or a related field are desirable.
- Experience developing workforce strategies aligned to business priorities, including workforce planning, organisational design and transformation.
- Proven capability in talent management, succession planning, leadership development and coaching.




- Employee relations expertise, including management of complex workplace matters, employment risk and compliance obligations.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience using workforce data, metrics and insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Well-developed coaching, facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance organisational performance, employee experience, operational needs and risk management.
