This placement will be FIFO from Darwin in Wadeye Mon to Friday - returning on Friday afternoons, accommodation provided in Darwin
Darwin in the Dry Season is spectacular with so many outdoor events – the famous Mindil Beach Markets, Deckchair Cinema, Supercars, Darwin Festival, Darwin Fringe Festival, Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair, Darwin Cup Carnival and soo much more.
Locums available for the 4 week period is optimum, but absolute minimum is 3 weeks.

Details

Locum Rural Medical Practitioner required for an ongoing placement starting August ****. The role involves fly-in fly-out arrangements from metropolitan Northern Territory to a remote community health centre.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. On-call duties are shared with primary health care nurses and Aboriginal health practitioners acting as first responders. Public holidays are unpaid as the health centre is closed. Fly-in fly-out travel occurs on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons.
Candidates must hold FRACGP or FACRRM fellowship. Active AHPRA registration, current CPD record, and ALS2, APLS, or REST credentials are required. Evidence of remote Indigenous health experience within the last two years is essential. Up-to-date immunisations, National Police Check,



and Working with Children Card are mandatory.
