The incumbent will be required to work in liaison with the onsite Specialist Paediatricians to provide outpatient clinics and will be required to be on call. Paediatricians are supported by a Trainee Medical Officer (PGY2) and/or Paediatrics Advanced Trainee. The after-hours Paediatrician on call will be supported by the Emergency Department medical staff. The incumbent will also be responsible for the supervision of the Trainee Medical Officer.
Preference may also be given to Medical Officers who have worked in SA Health and have experience using the Sunrise Electronic Medical Record system. Candidates put forward without this experience may need to undertake some online training prior to arrival and will then be provided with onsite training.
