The Position:
We are seeking passionate Special Needs Teachersfor Full-Time, Permanentand Fixed Term positions across the Northern Territory. Positions are available in Darwin, Palmerston, Alice Springs, and various Remote Communities. These roles offer rewarding opportunities for both Graduate and Experienced educators.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Special Needs Teacher, you will:
Inspire curiosity and a love of learning through creative, engaging lessons.
Create inclusive programs that celebrate every learner and support student growth with tailored teaching strategies.
Live out the values of faith, respect, and community in your classroom.
Engage with families and the broader community to support student wellbeing.
Maintain professional standards in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
To plan and prepare lessons in order to deliver the Australian Curriculum ensuring breadth and balance in all subjects.
To identify clear teaching objectives and learning outcomes, with appropriate challenge and high expectations.

About You (Selection Criteria): To be considered for this role,
you must meet the following essential criteria:
Is committed to Catholic values and ideally an active member of a Eucharistic community. Applicants from other faiths who share and support these values are encouraged to apply.
Holds or is eligible for Teacher Registration with the NT Teacher Registration Board.
Holds a valid Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Is committed to inclusive teaching and differentiated learning.
Thrives in collaborative school environments and contributes positively to school culture.
