The GP Clinic operates Monday to Friday 9-5, from the MPS. The inpatient unit has four single rooms. The MPS provide a 15bed high care Residential Aged Care unit offering supported living with an Activities Officer and Nurses.
We need an experienced Medical Officer/s (PGY5 +) to cover the MPS including GP Clinic, ED and Inpatient Medical Ward. Accommodation and vehicle provided. NSW payroll ($2K/day + superannuation)
Bonalbo is a small rural village located in far northern NSW and is approximately a 2hour drive west from Lismore. It is a centre for timber, dairying and cattle-grazing industries and is surrounded by unspoilt bushland. It is the upper catchment for the Clarence River Valley. Bonalbo lies 98km east of Tenterfield and 69k west of Casino and has a population of approx 371 people.

A Northern NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 13/12/2024 - ongoing. Initial 3 month contract with provision to extend indefinitely.

****hours Friday 13th December **** ongoing – we would offer a 3month contract to start From 19th December **** until 6th January **** the GP clinic will close for the holiday season so the Doctor would be covering the ED and inpatients plus on call only in this time. The GP clinic then reopens from the 6th January ****.



This is a busy position as the doctor works as a sole practitioner. We would consider a shared role for the right candidates so long as full cover is provided. Remuneration is at the NSW Health capped locum rate of $****/day (24hours period) per rostered shift CMO/GPs with more than 5 years' experience and/or Fellowship
