Tully is a small town located in the Cassowary Coast region, roughly 140km south of Cairns and 30km from popular tourist destination Mission Beach.
Hospital is a 20 bed MM5 hospital and the workload includes 24hr ED, GP services and inpatient care and services a population of 12,000. ED sees ***** patients daily. The hospital is staffed by 3 SMO, 4 PHO and 1 RHO. Oncall has a PHO overnight so oncall is not too onerous. There is a excellent team culture with good support, and other SMOs and DMS are happy to be contacted for additional help as required.
