We're looking for compassionate Housing Officers to join our Community Services team in Brisbane.
Working within our domestic and family violence program, you'll support women to secure protected, stable and affordable housing while helping them build confidence to maintain long-term tenancies.Location: Brisbane, QLD Role Type: Maximum Term Contract | Part Time role (60 hrs fortnight) Until 31 August **** Remuneration: $***** - $***** ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Employee Discounts & BenefitsWhat You'll Be Doing:This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by combining housing support, tenancy coordination and stakeholder engagement to improve outcomes for women who have experienced domestic and family violence.Supporting women to access safe, sustainable and affordable housingProviding information, advocacy, referrals and practical housing assistanceCoordinating tenancy administration, including accommodation agreements, leases, bonds and condition reportsConducting property inspections and identifying maintenance or safety requirementsCoordinating repairs and maintenance with contractors and relevant stakeholdersDelivering tenancy education, individual support and group workshopsBuilding strong relationships with housing providers, real estate agents and community networksMaintaining accurate client records, databases and reportingWorking collaboratively to achieve positive housing outcomes for clients.What You'll Bring:Experience in housing, homelessness,



community services or a similar roleA tertiary qualification in Human Services or a related disciplineKnowledge of the housing and homelessness sector, including relevant legislationAn understanding of the barriers faced by women experiencing domestic and family violenceStrong communication, relationship-building and advocacy skillsThe ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative teamHigh levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentialityA current Queensland Driver's LicenceA current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain them).
