Due to continued growth within their Data & AI practice, they are looking for an experienced Snowflake Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern cloud data platforms.This is a highly visible, client-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys partnering directly with stakeholders, leading technical conversations, and delivering impactful data solutions across complex enterprise environments.The OpportunityAs a Snowflake Architect, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and optimising enterprise-grade Snowflake solutions.
You'll work closely with technical and business stakeholders, provide architectural leadership, and guide engineering teams on modern best practices across cloud data platforms.You'll also contribute to solution design, client engagement, presales activities and strategic data initiatives across a variety of industries.Key Skills & ExperienceStrong expertise in Snowflake architecture, including:



Virtual warehouses; Micro-partitioning; Query optimisation; Resource management; Caching and clustering strategies; Monitoring and observability integrations (e.g. Splunk, Datadog)Proven experience designing enterprise data warehouse solutions and dimensional data models (star/snowflake schema)Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP environmentsStrong experience integrating Snowflake with tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Airflow and APIsKnowledge of Snowflake security capabilities including RBAC, masking, encryption and compliance frameworksExperience with: Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Python, SQL and Shell scripting, Snowpark (Python, Java or Scala)Understanding of AI/ML capabilities within Snowflake, including Cortex, LLMs and vector searchStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsIf you're passionate about contemporary data platforms and want to work on impactful transformation initiatives, we'd love to hear from you.
