The head contractor is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support site engineering and project delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity to launch your engineering career on a major, complex infrastructure project with experienced mentorship and exposure to high-stakes brownfield construction delivery in a regulated transport workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport site engineers with work pack preparation and construction planningAssist with drawing management, specification interpretation and technical queriesParticipate in field inspections, testing and quality control activitiesHelp maintain site records, progress documentation and as-built informationSupport pre-starts,



toolbox talks and safety inductionsAssist with commissioning and handover documentationLearn and apply construction methodology and sequencing principlesSupport survey and dimensional control activitiesEngage with supervisors and subcontractors to understand construction practiceContribute to project assurance and compliance activitiesWhat We're Looking ForCompleted or near-completed bachelor's degree in an civil engineering discipline relevant to the projectTranscript or expected completion date requiredConstruction placements, internships or site exposure (any scale) highly regardedUp to two years' post-graduate experience acceptableBasic ability to interpret drawings, use spreadsheets and communicate technical informationCurrent or obtainable construction induction card and driver's licenceWillingness to work on site and occasionally outside standard hoursStrong learning orientation and eagerness to develop construction expertise
