Our client is seeking a confident and proactive professional to join their finance team on a temporary basis.
This is a hands-on role that will suit someone who enjoys building relationships with customers while ensuring outstanding accounts are collected in a professional and timely manner.The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function.Your responsibilities will include:Contacting customers to follow up outstanding invoices and overdue accountsBuilding positive relationships while negotiating payment of outstanding debtsManaging email correspondence relating to customer accountsIssuing customer statements and invoicesAllocating customer payments accuratelyReconciling customer accountsInvestigating and resolving account queriesMaintaining accurate customer recordsAssisting the wider finance team as requiredAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control roleConfidence speaking with customers over the phoneStrong attention to detailExperience allocating payments and reconciling customer accountsGood organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsA positive, skilled and team-focused attitudeWhat's on OfferImmediate startTemporary contract with the potential for extensionFriendly and supportive finance teamVaried and hands-on roleConvenient location with onsite parkingCompetitive hourly rateIf you're available immediately and enjoy working in a busy finance environment where your communication skills will be highly valued, we want to hear from you.
