This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident running shifts, organising a Front of House team and maintaining strong service standards during high-volume periods.You will work closely with the Front of House Manager and take charge of the floor when required.About the roleYou will support the daily Front of House operation and help ensure each shift runs smoothly, efficiently and with genuine hospitality.Key responsibilities include:Leading busy shifts and organising the Front of House teamManaging sections, seating flow and communication between departmentsCoaching team members and maintaining service standardsHandling guest feedback and resolving service issuesSupporting opening, closing, handovers and daily proceduresTaking charge of the floor when the Front of House Manager is unavailableAbout youYou are an experienced hospitality leader who works well in a quick-paced café or restaurant environment.You communicate clearly, remain composed under pressure and are comfortable giving direction to the team.




You are also ready to develop the broader leadership and operational skills required to progress into a Front of House Manager role.To be considered, you should have:Recent Front of House experience in a busy café, restaurant or table-service venuePrevious experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Shift LeaderExperience leading shifts and directing a Front of House teamStrong communication, organisation and guest service skillsA reliable, accountable and team-focused approachCoffee knowledge, barista experience and familiarity with rostering, labour management or hospitality systems will be highly regarded.AvailabilityThis is a full-time position based at Flower Child Chatswood.Weekend availability is essential.
