HTP Automotive is looking for a skilled and reliable Fully Qualified Mechanic to join our growing team in Bayswater.You'll work across a range of vehicles, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and delivering high-quality workmanship that keeps our customers safe on the road.This is a full-time, stable role with a supportive team, consistent workflow, and opportunities to grow your skills.Key responsibilitiesDiagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues (engine, transmission, suspension, etc.)Carry out scheduled servicing including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotationsPerform vehicle inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problemsAccurately record work completed and parts usedEnsure all work is completed efficiently and to safety standardsCommunicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costsProvide guidance and support to apprentice mechanics,



helping develop their skillsWhat we're looking forTrade-qualified Automotive Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology)Minimum 5 years' hands-on experienceStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsExperience using up-to-date diagnostic tools and equipmentHigh attention to detail and pride in workmanshipGood communication skills and a team-focused attitudeCurrent driver's licence and own toolsFull working rights in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident).
