Techforce Personnel are currently seeking an experienced Trade Assistant with Telehandler experience to support the construction of a major ******kV substation project in Recent South Wales.Working alongside electricians and project teams, you will assist with the installation and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure on a large-scale energy project.About the RoleYour responsibilities will include assisting with:Installation of primary and secondary electrical equipmentCable installation and cable pulling activitiesCable termination supportEarthing system installationProtection and control system installationEquipment fit-out and assemblyTesting and commissioning supportSafe operation of telehandlers and material handling equipmentGeneral trade assistant duties as requiredSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience as a Trade Assistant on electrical, industrial, infrastructure, or energy projectsTelehandler ticket and operating experienceExperience working on transmission substations (132kV-330kV)
highly regardedExposure to utility-scale renewable energy projectsHigh Voltage installation experience advantageousStrong understanding of site safety proceduresAbility to work effectively within a team environmentTickets & QualificationsConstruction White CardTelehandler Licence/TicketEWP Licence (highly regarded)Working at HeightsFirst Aid Certificate (desirable)Current Driver's LicenceReliable transportWhat's on Offer?
