Our security team is essential in maintaining data integrity and providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for visitors and contractors.Sign-on bonus appliesonly to NV1-cleared officersin full-time roles: $1,500 after 6 months and $1,500 after successful completion of 12 months.Roaster and shift timings:4 on 4 off Rotation- *******************The Security Officer will be responsible for the following duties:Conduct various security patrols of facility to prevent unathorised access or suspicious activity including : Physical patrols ,Video patrols, Nightly full site video patrols & Buddy Patrols.Conduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting a restricted areaMonitor facility alarms and security system Class 5 alarms, Security portal resets, Duress alarms ,Investigating and responding to alarms.First responders to the incident and emergency managementincluding First AidManagement of keys/cards, Access Control System and Visitor Management SystemsIdentify prohibited items and prevent them from being introduced to or removed from a restricted areaProvide complete and accurate shift reports and task handover to Customer Service & Security SupervisorPhysical (on foot) and Virtual (on CCTV) patrols of assigned areas and report hazards and incidentsWhat We're Looking For:Must have AGSVA NV1 Clearance.Experience using IT systems for security access and controlMust be an Australian Citizen with full working rights in the respective stateHold a valid Security License (Class 1A or equivalent)Excellent communication and observational skillsStrong customer service experience with multi-tasking abilitiesConflict resolution, negotiation skills, and intermediate PC skills (MS Suite)Exceptional customer service standards, greeting visitors and assisting as neededCompliance with company policies and proceduresExperience in report writing, site patrol duties, and communication via two-way radioMust be punctual, responsible,
