mentoring and developmentConduct pre-start meetings, inspections and workplace interactionsCoordinate with technical and operational departmentsMonitor underground conditions and manage operational risksEnsure accurate shift reporting and handoversAbout the OperationLocated approximately in Kalgoorlie, this owner-operated gold operation consists of multiple underground mines supported by an expanded 4.2Mtpa processing facility, with significant ongoing investment in underground growth and resource expansion.
The operation employs a combination of underground and open pit mining methods and has a strong focus on safety, operational excellence and long-term sustainability.About YouTo be successful, you will have:Previous experience as an Underground Shift Supervisor, Shift Boss or ForemanStrong leadership and people management skillsExperience in production underground mining environmentsSound understanding of statutory and safety obligationsExcellent communication and decision-making abilitiesCurrent C Class Driver's LicenceDesired ExperienceOwner-operator or contractor underground mining experienceExposure to long-hole stoping and paste fill operationsGold mining experience highly regardedStrong focus on safety leadership and team development
