Responsibilities
Position Overview:Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department (ED), coordinates care planning with other disciplines as required.
Qualifications
Required:Current CA Registered Nurse LicenseCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationCurrent Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CertificationCurrent Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification Minimum of six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care EDSuccessful completion of Stroke/Sepsis Education competency within 6 months of hirePreferred:Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)Previous ER experience, and/or Six (6) months acute care experienceKnowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) & College of American Pathologist (CAP) Requirements
