Join Stockland Halcyon's Construction team and play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality homes that delight homeowners and strengthen our communities.
Based at Stockland Halcyon Dales in Beerwah, Sunshine Coast.
Leading Handwho enjoys being on site, supporting build delivery, and working closely with supervisors, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain Halcyon's high standards of safety, quality, and presentation.
What You'll DoAs a site-based, hands-on role, you'll support the Senior Leading Hand and Site Supervisor to ensure homes are delivered on time, to standard, and safely.
Your work will directly contribute to homeowner satisfaction and a well-run construction site.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting day-to-day site operations across quality control, housekeeping, site security and general activitiesCompleting fix-ups, tidy-ups and scope gap works to keep builds progressing on timeMaintaining a safe, clean and well-presented construction site at all timesWorking closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure jobs are completed to standard and on scheduleEnsuring all works comply with Stockland Halcyon policies, WHS legislation and relevant building standardsCommunicating daily with the Senior Leading Hand on progress, delays, risks and incomplete worksCompleting daily updates and required sign-offs in the construction programAssisting with catch-up works, site lock-ups and occasional site activities as required

Experience & Skills That Count
Current White CardConstruction site experience within residential building environments and a solid understanding of how builds come togetherAbility to complete general site tasks including fix-ups, tidy-ups and scope gap worksExperience working in fast-paced, high-volume site environmentsStrong time management skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple homesExperience working with subcontractors and trades on siteClear communication skills with the ability to elevate risks, delays or defectsPractical problem-solving skills with a reliable, team-oriented work ethicTrade background (desirable)Current driver's licence and ability to reliably commute to site
