This is a part-time position that offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's development and learning during these critical early years.
As an ECT, you will be responsible for creating engaging, nurturing and educationally stimulating environments that support children's growth across all developmental domains.
Your expertise and enthusiasm will be integral to delivering high-quality early childhood education services that align with the Australian Curriculum and regulatory frameworks.Key responsibilitiesPlan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, emotional, physical and social developmentCreate secure, inclusive and welcoming environments that support all children's participation and engagementAssess and document children's learning progress using appropriate observation and evaluation methodsCommunicate regularly with families regarding their child's development, achievements and wellbeingCollaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care, safety and hygiene within the centreSupport children's transitions through routines such as mealtimes, rest periods and outdoor playRespond sensitively to children's individual needs, interests and learning stylesMaintain accurate records and participate in reflective practice to continually improve teaching qualityAdhere to all centre policies,



regulatory requirements and duty of care responsibilitiesWhat we're looking forA recognised Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualificationCurrent Working with Children Check (or eligibility to obtain one)Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and learning theoriesStrong understanding of the Australian Curriculum: Foundation to Year 1 or equivalent early learning frameworksExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, families and colleaguesAbility to plan and implement inclusive, play-based learning experiencesCommitment to maintaining professional standards and engaging in ongoing professional developmentPhysical capability to support active play and care routines with young childrenExperience working within early childhood education settings is highly desirableCurrent or willingness to undertake First Aid and CPR certificationWhat we offerAt Miniversity Early Learning Centre, we are committed to supporting our staff and creating a positive workplace.
