Employment Type:Multiple opportunities available- full time and part timeRemuneration:$***** per hourThis position involves driving the Allowah vehicle to take our clients on community outings.
This van can be driven on a standard car licence.Why You'll Love Working With UsLearn Recent Skills: Support Workers provide disability support including NDIS and in-house support within Allowah, they facilitate leisure activities, drive clients to appointments and activities and provide daily care.Training: Comprehensive training is provided from Day 1.
This includes induction through to on-the-job support.Teamwork and Mentorship:



Guidance from the House Manager and the Support Services Coordinator enables skill development and facilitates understanding of how optimal client care is delivered.Wellbeing: Opportunities to participate in company events throughout the year targeted at enhancing staff health and wellbeing.Communication: Written and verbal, to communicate across diverse groupsReliability: Follow instructions to prioritise client careEmpathy: Put the client at the heart of what you doTeamwork: Connect and build rapport with staffFlexibility: Be creative in the planning and delivery of NDIS program activitiesIf successful, you will need to obtain the following prior to commencement:Working with Children CheckNDIS Workers CheckPolice Check (within the last 12 months)NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to drive clients in the Allowah vehicleFirst Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)Qualifications & experienceExperience in disability support, working with children or young people with special needs and/or chronic illness or in education including early childhoodA recognised qualification such as a Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability or Bachelor of Social WorkApplications close Monday 31 August at 5:00pm.
