Onsite Group is seeking a Building Cadet to join our team in Edgecliff, NSW.
This is a part-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to begin your career in the construction and project management industry.
As a Building Cadet, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands‐on experience in site management, project coordination, and construction practices.
This role is instrumental in supporting our project teams and developing the next generation of construction professionals.What you'll be doingAssisting project managers and senior site staff with day‐to‐day site operations and coordinationConducting site inspections and documenting progress, including taking photographs and maintaining recordsSupporting the preparation of construction documentation, including schedules, plans and reportsLiaising with contractors, suppliers and other site personnel to ensure smooth project deliveryAssisting with health and safety compliance and site induction proceduresObserving and learning best practices in construction management and project deliverySupporting the administrative functions of the project team, including correspondence and filingAttending site meetings and assisting with meeting preparation and follow‐up actionsHelping to coordinate site activities and resource allocation under supervisionWhat we're looking forCurrently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering,



Quantity Surveying or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications A genuine interest in the construction industry and project management Willingness to learn and develop professional skills under mentorship Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to site Current White Card (Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain one Preferred experience: Any previous work experience on construction sites or in related industriesWhat we offerAt Onsite Group, we are committed to supporting the professional development of our team members.
