We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.About the roleThe Intensive Mobile Treatment Team is a specialist team within ICYMHS which provides specialist mental health assessment and intervention to the most vulnerable and at-risk young people in our community, their families and support systems.
The team has a flexible approach, providing care via both outreach and clinic-based appointments, and works systemically to ensure consistency of care for young people engaged with multiple service systems due to their complexity.The team has a solid culture of reflective practice, supervision, ongoing career development and robust structures that support this.The successful incumbent will be a Clinician with experience in public mental health settings and would hold a designated case load of young people,
providing the specialist mental health assessment and intervention as well as working closely with their families and support systems.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:Current OT, Clinical Psychology or Mental Health Nursing registration with AHPRA.Qualified Social Worker with eligibility for membership with AASWPost Graduate qualifications in developmental psychiatry course, family therapy or child psychotherapy is desirableHighly developed interpersonal and reflective skillsA strong commitment to high quality careThe ability to work as part of a diverse teamExcellent communication and organisational skillsSee attached position description for more details required qualifications, experience and key selection criteria.Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year.
