We specialise in appliance repairs, warranty service and spare parts, working with many of Australia's leading appliance brands.We're looking for an organised and reliable Storeperson/Parts & Inventory Coordinator to take responsibility for the day-to-day movement of parts and stock throughout our warehouse.About the RoleThis is a hands-on position that plays an important part in keeping our technicians, trade customers and spare parts operation running efficiently.Your responsibilities will include:Receiving, checking and receipting incoming inventoryUnpacking, labelling and correctly storing appliance partsAllocating parts to individual technician jobsPreparing and organising parts for technicians prior to scheduled workPicking and preparing parts orders for trade customersManaging dedicated trade and customer ordersMaintaining accurate stock locations and inventory recordsProcessing supplier returns, warranty returns and incorrectly supplied partsPreparing returned goods for freight and tracking supplier creditsIdentifying stock discrepancies and assisting with stocktakesLiaising with the spare parts and service teams regarding incoming and outstanding partsKeeping the warehouse, shelving and parts storage areas organised and safeAssisting with incoming and outgoing freight and general warehouse dutiesAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is organised, methodical and dependable.
With a large number of parts moving through the business each day,
attention to detail is essential.You'll ideally have:Previous warehousing, stores, inventory or parts experienceStrong organisational and time-management skillsGood computer and data-entry skillsExcellent attention to detailThe ability to accurately match parts to jobs and ordersConfidence dealing with suppliers, technicians and trade customersThe ability to work independently and as part of a busy teamA practical approach to keeping a warehouse organisedExperience with appliance parts, electrical parts, automotive parts, plumbing supplies or a similar technical parts environment would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.Why Join Mercer & Luck?
