With a culturally diverse campus life and extensive international exchange and research programs, UTS prepares graduates for the workplaces of today and tomorrow.About the TeamThe Graduate Research School holds an significant place in UTS' ambitions, it is through the GRS that we:lead strategic planning, policy development and quality assurance in research educationmaintain an education and training program aimed at developing the skills of research students and their supervisors thereby lifting the quality of our program, enhancing the outcomes afforded to our staff and students and the increasing the opportunities that are createdapply a pan-University approach to graduate researcher development for research students and supervisors working synergistically with the faculties to augment higher degree by research training and experienceprovide central management and oversight of all stages of research degree candidature; andenable quality experience for research students and supervisors through provision of a range of services.About the RoleThe Change Management Lead will support the Graduate Research School to establish and embed effective ways of working following operating model changes.
The role is responsible for leading stakeholder engagement, communications, workshops and culture-building activities; clarifying team processes and accountabilities; establishing feedback mechanisms; identifying barriers to adoption; and developing measures to track whether new ways of working are being successfully embedded.
Working closely with leaders and staff, the role will help build a collaborative,
positive and student-focused culture and ensure sustainable behavioural change across the team.With examples, please outline within your Cover Letter, how you meet the following five (5) key selection criteria:Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear communications, presentations, briefing materials, FAQs, workshop materials and reports.Strong organisational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise, coordinate and deliver work within short timeframes.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and support constructive engagement during change.Sound understanding of change management principles, stakeholder engagement, organisational culture and continuous improvement approaches.Experience designing and delivering engagement activities, workshops, communications and feedback mechanisms.Base Salary Range: $ 125,*********,166 pa (HEW 8)This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Benefits include flexible work practices, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis until December ****Closing Date: Tuesday, 25th August **** at 11:59pm (AEST)Applicants must have current and valid work rights in Australia.UTS prioritises safety, respect, and inclusion for every member of our community.
