M.D.A Cabinets is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Cabinet Maker to join our team in Chandler, QLD.

As an apprentice, you will be working full-time, gaining hands‐on experience in all aspects of cabinet making, from design and planning through to construction and finishing.
This role is essential to our operations and will provide you with the foundation to become a skilled tradesperson in the cabinet‐making industry.What you'll be doingAssisting experienced cabinet makers in the design, planning and layout of cabinet projectsLearning to operate and safely use a variety of hand tools, power tools and machinery used in cabinet makingPreparing and selecting appropriate timber and materials for projectsAssisting with the cutting, shaping and assembly of cabinet componentsLearning finishing techniques including sanding, staining and varnishingHelping to install completed cabinets at client locationsMaintaining a clean and organised workshop environmentFollowing all health and safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipmentLearning to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsAssisting with quality control and ensuring work meets our high standardsWhat we're looking forCurrently enrolled in or willing to enrol in an apprenticeship programme in cabinet makingA genuine passion for working with your hands and creating quality crafted productsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‐quality workReliability,
