In this role you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing, repair, and fault diagnosis of machinery and equipment supporting the EC135 Helicopter fleet.This is a full time temporary position expected to end December ****.Key ResponsibilitiesManage HATS Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and ToolingMaintain all Support and Test Equipment (STE) in accordance with item maintenance policyManage tool calibration schedules and carry out tool kit auditingPerform maintenance and repairs on HATS GSE equipmentMaintain and manage component and replacement part inventoriesMaintain a register of GSE and STE equipmentWork independently under limited supervisionEssential RequirementsAviation or mechanical trades certification — minimum Certificate IIIStrong computer skills across Microsoft Excel, Access, and WordAbility to troubleshoot, analyse, inspect, disassemble, rebuild, modify, and test factory machinery and equipment (mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics)Ability to read and interpret advanced blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawingsKnowledge of set-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of GSEProficiency with various hand, power-driven, and specialty toolsDemonstrated ability to build effective working relationships within a complex organisational structureAbility to use initiative, prioritise, and work to tight timeframes with limited supervisionStrong conceptual and analytical skillsDesirableHigh Risk Work Licence (Forklift and Dogging)Demonstrated knowledge of ERP MRO (cMRO) or equivalent Maintenance Management softwareExperience with asset management software applicationsSecurity ClearanceApplicants must be willing and able to undergo the vetting process for a Government Baseline Security Clearance, sponsored by BDA.
