Refrigerant Technician - Nominated Supervisor & InstallerWe are looking for an experienced Refrigerant Technician to be our Nominated Supervisor and Installer.
This is a hands-on role working across residential homes, renovations, new builds, and light commercial projects throughout Sydney.
You will work alongside experienced tradespeople installing air conditioning systems while maintaining a high standard of workmanship, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
As our Nominated Supervisor, you will hold legal responsibility for ensuring our installations meet all government scheme standards and state trade laws, making you a pivotal part of our growing operations.Key responsibilitiesAct as the registered license holder for the business entity, ensuring all work meets NSW Fair Trading requirementsReview and sign off on completed installations to ensure they strictly meet the NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) RuleOversee the accurate collection of in office data, geo-tagged photos, commissioning reports, and certificate requirements needed by ACPs to generate Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs)Directly supervise field technicians and sub-contractors to ensure installations strictly adhere to IPART-accepted product guidelines and pass independent safety auditsInstall ducted, split, multi-head,



and VRF air conditioning systems to the highest standardsProvide professional customer service and technical advice via our service departmentAbout youCurrent NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate (or Endorsed Contractor Licence) in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, allowing you to legally nominate as a company supervisorCurrent ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence (RHL) explicitly holding the full, unrestricted RAC01 licence codeMinimum 3 years of experience installing ducted, multi-head, and VRF air conditioning systemsStrong understanding of NSW Energy Security Safeguard (ESS) operational rules and product eligibility limitsTrade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning with a proven ability to read plans and work independentlyHigh attention to detail with experience managing technical documentation and maintaining high audit pass ratesReliable, punctual, well-presented, with strong communication skills and pride in producing neat, high-quality installationsCurrent Australian Driver's Licence, commitment to workplace safety, and current Australian residency with unrestricted working rightsAbout usWe are an established air conditioning company specialising in residential and light commercial installations across Sydney, including ducted, split, multi-head and VRF systems.
