LAB3 is one of the largest Azure engineering practices in the Australasia region with a focus on Cloud & DevOps, Data, IoT & AI, Modern Workplace, Security, andNetwork services.
We have an exciting new permanent role for an intermediate Project Manager based in Sydney in our Professional Services Team.
The Role:
Manage,leadand influencetechnical project teams,vendorsand partners todeliver effective project outcomes whilst managing risk, issues, and quality of the deliverables.
Raise variations internally or with the client whenrequiredto ensure profitability, timeliness, and effectiveness of the delivered outcomes.
Identify,establish,build,andmaintainrelationships(through regular communication) with key client stakeholders to understand and manage their drivers and issues.
Work with and influence stakeholders to achieve satisfactory client and projectoutcome.Identifyopportunities,work collaboratively, and manage projects to deliver client strategic outcomes.
Initiate, facilitateand lead client workshops that support the definition of non-functional and functional requirements, with a consultancy led approach.
Prepare, maintain,and track progress of projectschedules,reports,resourceforecasts,RAID logs,minutes,projectdocumentationandproject financesin line withgovernanceobjectivestoa high standard and ina timelyfashion.
Support the development, estimationand review of SOWs and solutions for internal and client projects.
Establish and follow the project rhythm of regular meetings, stand-ups, project status reports, meeting minutes,governancemeetingsandsteeringcommittees
Provideclear,concise,andtimelyupdatesto progress andescalationswhenrequired.
Identify, interpret, and communicate meaningful insights, conclusions, cost estimations, presentations, and report toLAB3clients, as necessary.
Support the internal uplift of our LAB3Project Delivery capability.
Drive enhancement of our teamframeworks, practice structure, governance, reporting, processes,and procedures.
Deliver projects within the LAB3delivery framework and theappropriateuseofappliedWaterfall,Agile, Scrum, Kanban &DevOpsmethodologiesprimarilyacrossIT; projects.
The ideal candidate:
You are aJunior/Intermediate-level Project Manager with experience managing and/or coordinating technology projects for clients.
Vendor/ Consultancy background: You understand the challenges of delivering to a client and can be flexible with changing priorities.
An understanding of the Microsoft technology stack including Azure, modernisation and AI
Clear communication and exceptional organisational skills are essential.
You are based in Sydney and open to be onsite with the client when required.
This is a Hybrid role.
You are an Australian Citizen with NV1 security clearance.
