OverviewThe consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest road infrastructure project: the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.
The alliance will deliver the final 10.5 km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway.
The T2D project includes two tunnels (Southern and Northern) connected by an open motorway, with a combined distance of 10.5 km.
The project comprises tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction, services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
The Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed.RoleAs the Precast Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily production activities across the precast yard and ensure works are completed in line with project specifications, quality standards and delivery schedules.
You will work with the Precast Superintendent, Engineers, QA teams, planners and logistics personnel to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.
This role requires a proactive, solutions-focused leader who can manage a diverse workforce, coordinate multiple work fronts and maintain production momentum in a rapid-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily precast production activities across mould preparation, reinforcement installation, concrete pours, curing, stripping and finishing worksCoordinate and manage production crews,



subcontractors and plant operators to ensure safe and efficient operationsAssist the Precast Superintendent in delivering daily and weekly production programmesMonitor productivity, production outputs and labour allocation to meet programme milestonesPromote and maintain a strong safety culture through leadership, toolbox talks and site engagementIdentify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks and operational challengesCoordinate material, equipment and labour requirements to maintain workflow continuityMonitor concrete pours, curing processes and handling procedures to ensure product integrity and qualityMaintain accurate production records, reports and shift updatesSupport training, mentoring and development of production personnelDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality and cost performanceAbout YouPrevious experience in a supervisory role within precast concrete production or heavy manufacturingStrong understanding of precast manufacturing methodologies and production sequencingExperience coordinating large work crews and multiple production activities simultaneouslySound knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practicesStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skillsProven ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlinesStrong problem-solving and planning capabilityTrade qualification or construction-related background highly regardedWe OfferYour success is our success.
