The RoleAs Group Financial Controller, you'll play a key senior finance leadership role with responsibility for the integrity of the Group's financial reporting, statutory compliance, financial control workplace, treasury and core finance operations.Key duties will include (but not be limited to):Lead, develop and mentor a finance team of 4 direct and 9 indirect reportsLead Group financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, annual and consolidated reporting across all entitiesOwn the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger, balance sheet and financial dataLead the Group financial control framework, ensuring robust controls,



governance and financial integrity across the organisationOversee treasury, cash flow, liquidity, working capital, banking arrangements and associated financial risk and controlsLead statutory reporting and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and Group policiesProvide high-quality financial analysis, advice and reporting to the CFO and Executive Leadership TeamProvide leadership and oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, driving effective working capital management, controls and process improvementPartner with senior stakeholders on key business initiatives, providing financial insight and support to commercial decision-makingDrive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems (including AI projects), controls and reporting, improving efficiency and effectiveness across the GroupPartner with the Tax Manager, providing financial information and support across tax governance and compliance requirementsYour BackgroundIn order to be considered for this Group Financial Controller role you will meet the following criteria:Be professionally qualified (e.g. CA, ACA or equivalent)Ideally commenced your career within an audit firm, providing a strong grounding in technical accounting, financial reporting and controlsExperience within a multi-entity or Group environmentStrong technical accounting, statutory reporting, consolidation and Group financial control experienceStrong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, treasury, audit, financial governance and internal control requirementsStrong people leadership experience, with the ability to develop finance teams and influence senior stakeholders across the organisationERP and finance systems capability with experience driving process improvementsExcellent analytical capability, commercial judgement, communication and stakeholder management skills
