You'll rotate through three of our four practice groups, including Commercial, General Insurance, Life Insurance, Superannuation & Financial Advice, and Employers Liability, gaining broad exposure to a range of clients, matters and areas of law.
Working alongside experienced lawyers and partners, you'll develop your technical skills, commercial awareness and practical legal experience.
The program provides a potential pathway to ongoing career opportunities within the firm.Your RoleConduct legal research and prepare summaries for lawyers and clientsAssist with drafting legal advice, pleadings and court documentsAttend court and client meetings as requiredAssist with witness statements and evidence preparationBrief experts and assist with matter managementWork closely with lawyers across a range of practice areas and clientsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Completed your law degree and be eligible to undertake legal practice in QueenslandCompleted, or be close to completing,
