Brisbane | Senior Commercial Leadership | Renewable Energy EPCWe are partnering with a leading EPC contractor delivering the Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP) package on a major wind farm project in Queensland.They are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to join the senior project leadership team and take ownership of the commercial and contractual performance of the package.The EBoP scope includes the design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of major electrical infrastructure, including:High-voltage substations and switchyardsUnderground electrical reticulationProtection, control, SCADA and communications systemsGrid connection and network interfacesWind turbine electrical interfacesAssociated electrical infrastructureTesting, commissioning and energisationThis is a complex lump-sum EPC setting, with multiple contractors, OEMs and delivery interfaces.The RoleWorking closely with the GM Commercial and Project Manager/Project Director this person will:Lead upstream and downstream commercial and contract managementManage claims, variations,



EOTs and contractual noticesLead commercial management of major subcontractors and suppliersIdentify and mitigate contractual and commercial riskMaintain oversight of forecasting and overall commercial performanceProtect project margin within a lump-sum EPC environmentSupport major procurement and subcontract negotiationsLead commercial negotiations and dispute resolutionProvide senior commercial advice across the project leadership teamAbout YouWe're looking for an established Commercial Manager with experience delivering major EPC, energy or infrastructure projects.Strong experience across lump-sum contracts, head contracts, major subcontracts, claims, variations, EOTs and commercial risk will be important.Experience within renewables, transmission, substations or utilities would be highly regarded, although strong Tier 1 infrastructure backgrounds are equally relevant.The position will be predominantly Brisbane based, with travel to the project site as required.
