Manufacturing Plant/Forklift Operator - Dalby, QLDOngoing opportunity within a busy fertiliser manufacturing environmentVaried role combining forklift dispatch, plant operation and production supportSafety-focused workplace with hands-on training and team supportThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Plant/Forklift Operator to support the safe and productive operation of a fertiliser manufacturing plant in Dalby, QLD.
Working under general direction, this hands-on role will primarily involve forklift dispatch duties, including loading 1-tonne fertiliser bags onto trucks.
You will also support broader factory operations as required, including operating processing and packaging equipment, machine operation, cleaning and general site duties.
This is a varied position within a busy fertiliser manufacturing environment where safety, product quality, accuracy and teamwork are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will play an important role in keeping fertiliser manufacturing, packaging and dispatch operations running safely and efficiently.
The position requires a strong focus on accurate production processes, safe equipment operation and maintaining consistent product quality.Safely operate forklifts to move, load and unload materialsOperate fertiliser processing and packaging facilities to meet production requirementsSupport the efficient operation of granulation and manufacturing plant equipmentMonitor feed accuracy,



batching accuracy and product consistencyOperate and monitor plant, machinery and equipment in accordance with proceduresComplete machine operation and general factory duties as requiredIdentify, report and respond to safety hazards, quality concerns and operational variancesMaintain accurate production and operational recordsFollow quality assurance, manufacturing and workplace safety proceduresA$***** per hour + penalty ratesHigh earning potential with approximately 40 hours per weekVaried work across forklift dispatch, manufacturing and plant operationsOpportunity to build further experience in fertiliser processing and productionSafety-focused workplace with a supportive operational teamYour Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will be an experienced forklift operator with a strong focus on safety.Current Forklift Licence (LF) - essentialProven forklift operating experience, ideally including loading trucks and handling bulk productsPrevious experience in manufacturing, production, processing, warehousing or a similar environmentStrong commitment to workplace health and safetyAbility to follow operating procedures and quality assurance requirementsGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a teamReliable transport and the ability to attend rostered shiftsLoader experience is highly regarded but not essential
