This role will allow opportunities to develop and hone your skills in a hands-on workshop environment with the intention to enter into a full time Fitting / Turning Apprenticeship upon successful completion of your 6 month probation period.You will play a vital role, contributing directly to the quality of work delivered to our clients and the overall success of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist qualified tradespeople with workshop tasks and maintenance work,
including:Overhauls of large equipment for the underground mining industryServicing and maintaining air operated equipmentAssisting with fabrication work as requiredSupporting the workshop team with repairs and maintenance to a range of equipmentMaintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environmentRecording of servicing information, photographs and other documentation relevant to the jobA willingness to learn and develop practical skills in a trades environmentAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining standards of safety and qualityStrong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to work as part of a teamBasic literacy and numeracy skillsCurrent HRW Forklift Licence is desirable, but not essentialAll applications will be handled confidentially.Candidates must be legally permitted to work in Australia.
